Director

At Al Barr Care, our Directors bring over 20 years of combined experience in working with children and young people in the care sector. Leading by example, we ensure that our core values shape the foundation of our work. Our primary responsibility is to implement strategies that effectively meet the needs of our staff, children, and young people.

We collaborate closely with local authorities, agencies, and professional bodies, which has allowed us to gain exceptional knowledge of childcare legislation and the core principles of the 9 quality standards. Our team includes a designated CPI Safety Intervention trainer, who has acquired extensive expertise in financial and management systems, holding a postgraduate certificate in Management.

Responsive Individual

At Al Barr Care, our Responsible Individual works closely with the Directors to ensure a deep understanding of best practices in addressing the needs of looked-after children, as well as the local authority care planning responsibilities required for residential homes. We are dedicated to shaping a new and brighter future for all the children and young people in our care.
